Volunteer Opportunities
The following are just some of the volunteer opportunities that are available at Journey:
- Prayer Team (Sunday mornings at 9:30 am and other times)
- Greeting Team (one Sunday morning a month)
- Parking Attendants (one Sunday morning a month)
- Hospitality Team (preparing coffee, etc. on Sunday mornings)
- Landscaping Team (mowing and/or other responsibilities)
- Community Garden Team
- Nursery (one Sunday morning a month: newborn-2 years)
- Wee Adventure (one or two Sunday mornings a month: 3-K)
- Kid Adventure (two Sunday mornings a month: 1-5 grades)
- Shift Student Outreach (Tuesday nights: middle school and high school students)
- Computer operator (power-point type of program on Sunday mornings)
- Sound technician (mixing the sound board on Sunday mornings)
- Small Group Host (allow a small group to meet in your home every week)
- Small Group Facilitator (lead a small group every week)
- Missions Awareness Team (put together a monthly newsletter highlighting our 9+ missionaries)
